Pleased with the 9 mile race, though my time from the race clock seems a bit quick considering how slowly we were running at the start of the race. I’ll believe it when I see the results. Serves me right for not wearing a watch.

Monday: AM 8km easy / PM 12km easy (20)

Tuesday: AM 10km easy / PM Metchley session – lap tempo, 4×400, 2 x half lap, 8×200, lap tempo (27)

Wednesday: 16km easy (16)

Thursday: AM 12km easy / PM 15km moderate (27)

Friday: 16km easy (16)

Saturday: rest (0)

Sunday: AM Arden 9 mile road race 1st in 47:33 / PM 8km easy (27)

Week total: 133km
